Now Accepting Applications:


Looking for a small crew for (1-2) days of hard labor, limited accommodations, and poor pay.

Unlimited fresh air, wildlife sightings, and future use of the cabin all possible.

Prior experience not required. Will train.


The plan is to allow two days to drive out and unload. Monday, June 28th we will try to get the timbers organized, make a run to Helena for supplies, and possibly set the sill beams. June 29th and 30th will be the timber raising/heavy lifting days when help will be needed.

  1. Wow! Impressive progress and web site. Though you may be looking for younger, more capable workers, keep me in mind as a last resort. Resume: old, obese, white male with limited eye-sight, hearing, and memory, but full head of dyed brown hair. Will work for beer. Height: short Weight: obese

I had no idea- when Russ said Bob's building a cabin, I thought, "Oh cool, Bob's building a cabing- I'd like to see it.", but after reading & seeing the pictures, "Bob & family is REALLY BUILDING a cabin!!- what an awesome family experience- I will definately have to take the time to see it!!-

  4. Do you need someone to keep things running smooth, boss people around, point fingers for things done wrong and take credit for the accomplishments?

    If so I'm in.

    Nice cabin Bob, if things don't pan out for my Elk trip I may come along and help/learn.

    I'll be over to see it before she's loaded.
