My daughter shot her first turkey this last weekend. The beautifully feathered tom weighted in @ 26 1/4 pounds with a 9 1/2" beard and 1" spurs. She was the first to spot the tom and was patient as he made his way towards the blind. She remained calm and took a great shot. It was a very memorable hunt for both of us.
